Walking
If you are in the central area of St. Peter Port, start by heading towards the harbour. From the harbour, walk up the main road (St. Julian's Avenue) that runs parallel to the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the Candie Road. Turn left onto Candie Road. Follow Candie Road uphill for about 10 minutes. The Victor Hugo Statue is located within the Candie Gardens on your right. Look for a tranquil park area with well-maintained gardens and the statue positioned at a prominent spot.

From the Guernsey Museum, which is a well-known landmark, exit the museum and turn right onto the Candie Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 5 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Candie Gardens on your left. Enter the gardens, and the Victor Hugo Statue is located within the park, offering a beautiful view of the surroundings.

If you are near the Town Church (St. Peter Port Parish Church), exit the church and head towards the main road (High Street). Turn left onto High Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with St. Julian's Avenue. Turn right onto St. Julian's Avenue, and then take the first left onto Candie Road. Walk uphill for about 5 minutes, and you will find the entrance to Candie Gardens on your right, where the Victor Hugo Statue is situated.
