Linden's Martyrs Monument Park: A Tribute to Resilience

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Linden, head towards the Linden-Kwakwani Road. You can start at the Linden Bus Park, which is a central point. Walk north along the main road, which is lined with shops and local eateries. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Linden-Kwakwani Road. At this intersection, turn left onto Linden-Kwakwani Road. The Martyrs Monument Park is approximately a 10-minute walk from this intersection, located on your right side. Look for the distinctive monument as you approach; it should be visible from the road.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local vendors in the town center. Start at the Linden Bus Park and ride north along the main road, passing various shops and local attractions. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Linden-Kwakwani Road. Turn left onto Linden-Kwakwani Road and continue riding for about 10 minutes. The Martyrs Monument Park will be on your right. Keep an eye out for the park's entrance as you approach.

  To reach Linden's Martyrs Monument Park using public transport, find a minibus that travels along the Linden-Kwakwani route. Buses frequently depart from the Linden Bus Park. Board a minibus that is heading towards Kwakwani and inform the driver that you would like to get off at the Martyrs Monument Park. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, you will find the park entrance just a short walk from the bus stop.
