From the center of Cap-Haïtien, start at the Notre Dame Cathedral located on Rue 1. Head northeast on Rue 1 towards Rue 2. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road, RN #1. This is about a 15-minute walk. Once you reach RN #1, turn left (north) and continue walking for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass by local shops and small eateries. The Monuments de Vertières will be on your right side, marked by a large statue. Look for the PQPH+CMX area, which is the exact location of the monument.
