Start at the central market in Les Cayes. From there, walk east along Rue 1ère. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue 2ème. Turn left onto Rue 2ème and follow it until you reach the main road. Cross the main road and continue straight onto Route Nationale #2, which leads out of the city. After about 1 km, you will see a sign for Fort Jacques. Follow the signs to the fort, which is approximately 1.5 km from this point. The path will lead you uphill, so be prepared for a bit of a climb.
