Start from the central area of Les Cayes, such as the Place d'Armes. Head east on Rue de la Réserve towards Rue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 2. Turn left onto Route Nationale 2, and walk along this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll notice local shops and street vendors along the way, making it a lively walk. After walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for the sign indicating 'Gelée Beach' and turn right onto Rte de Gelée, which will lead you directly to the beach area. Gelée Beach is located approximately 3 kilometers down this road.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Les Cayes. Starting from the center of Les Cayes, cycle east on Rue de la Réserve towards Rue de la Liberté. After reaching Route Nationale 2, take a left and continue cycling east for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the Gelée Beach sign, turn right onto Rte de Gelée. The bike ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.

From the center of Les Cayes, look for a Tap Tap (shared taxi) heading towards Gelée. You will find these colorful vehicles parked near the main square. Board a Tap Tap that indicates it goes to Gelée. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the entrance of Rte de Gelée. After getting off, follow the signs and walk for about 500 meters down Rte de Gelée to reach the beach.
