Walking
From the central park in Copán Ruinas, head north along the main street. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by a few local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to 'Macaw Mountain Bird Park'. After approximately 20-30 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to the park on your left side, just before reaching a small bridge.
Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Copán Ruinas. Start at the central park and head north on the same main street. Biking will take around 10-15 minutes. Be cautious of pedestrians and uneven surfaces. Look for the signs for 'Macaw Mountain Bird Park' as you approach the entrance, which will be on your left before the bridge.
Tuk-Tuk
You can also take a tuk-tuk from the central park in Copán Ruinas. Simply approach any tuk-tuk driver and ask to be taken to Macaw Mountain Bird Park. The ride typically takes about 5-10 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the entrance of the park.
