Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Örs vezér tere. Ride for 3 stops and get off at Blaha Lujza tér. From there, transfer to Tram Line 4 or 6 and take it towards Széll Kálmán tér. Ride for 3 stops and get off at Fiumei Út, then walk about 10 minutes to reach the Chapel of Saint Roch located at Gyulai Pál u. 2.

    If you are near the Hungarian National Museum, you can walk to the Chapel of Saint Roch. Head east on Múzeum körút towards Rákóczi út. Turn right onto Rákóczi út and continue straight until you reach Gyulai Pál utca. Turn left onto Gyulai Pál utca and the chapel will be on your right.

    Starting from the Buda side, take the tram 19 from the Batthyány tér stop towards Kossuth Lajos tér. Get off at the second stop, Margit híd, then transfer to Metro Line 2 (red line) at the Kossuth Lajos tér station. Travel towards Örs vezér tere and get off at Blaha Lujza tér. From there, take Tram Line 4 or 6 for 3 stops to Fiumei Út, then walk 10 minutes to reach the Chapel of Saint Roch.
