Public Transport - Metro
Start your journey at Deák Ferenc tér, the central transport hub in Budapest. Board Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Örs vezér tere. After 5 stops, get off at the Népliget station. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs to the bus terminal. From there, take bus number 99 towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Ride for 5 stops and alight at Illés utca. The Garden of Lights is a short 5-minute walk straight down Illés utca, located at number 25.

Begin your journey at Blaha Lujza tér, an easily accessible square in Budapest. From the square, take tram number 4 or 6 (the yellow trams) in the direction of Széll Kálmán tér. Disembark at the Rákóczi tér stop after 3 stops. Transfer to tram number 28, heading towards Törökőr. Get off at Illés utca stop. You will find the Garden of Lights just a short walk away at Illés utca 25.
