If you are starting from Deák Ferenc tér, take the M1 (yellow line) metro towards Vörösmarty tér. Travel for 1 stop and get off at the Árpád híd station. From there, transfer to the M3 (blue line) metro towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Travel for 3 stops and get off at the Lehel tér station. Exit the station and walk to the bus stop. Take bus number 16 towards the Bécsikapu tér. Get off at the Bécsikapu tér stop, and the National Archives of Hungary Building will be right in front of you.

If you are near the Széll Kálmán tér, take tram number 61 towards Békásmegyer. Travel for 3 stops and get off at the Bécsikapu tér stop. The National Archives of Hungary Building will be directly across the street from the tram stop.

Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Buda Castle, you can walk to the National Archives of Hungary Building. Head northwest on Szentháromság tér towards Tóth Árpád sétány. Continue straight onto Bécsikapu tér. The building is located at Bécsikapu tér 2-4, and you will see it on your left.

If you are in the city center, you can take bus number 16 from the Deák Ferenc tér bus station, heading towards Bécsikapu tér. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at the Bécsikapu tér stop. The National Archives of Hungary Building will be in front of you as you exit the bus.
