Train
Start your journey from any central train station in Budapest, such as Keleti Pályaudvar or Nyugati Pályaudvar. Purchase a ticket to Gödöllő at the ticket counter or from a ticket machine. Board the suburban train (HÉV) towards Gödöllő. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gödöllő, exit the train station and follow the signs for the Royal Palace. It is about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km) from the station. Head southwest on Szabadság út, then take a right onto Grassalkovich út, which will lead you directly to the palace entrance.
