From Deák Ferenc tér, follow the signs to the exit towards Károly körút. Once you are on Károly körút, walk straight until you reach the intersection with Andrássy út. Turn right on Andrássy út and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Szent István tér. St. Stephen's Basilica will be on your left.

Take tram line 2 or 4/6 to the stop called 'Kossuth Lajos tér'. From there, head east towards the Danube River. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the Chain Bridge, then cross the bridge. After crossing, turn left onto Szent István tér. St. Stephen's Basilica will be directly in front of you.

If you are in the vicinity of the Hungarian Parliament Building, you can walk to St. Stephen's Basilica. Head south on Kossuth Lajos tér, passing the Parliament on your left.
