Metro
If you're near Deák Ferenc tér, take Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the next stop, Vörösmarty tér. From there, head down Váci utca street, a pedestrian area filled with shops and cafes. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of Váci utca, which will bring you to the Danube River. Turn right and walk along the riverbank for about 5 minutes until you reach the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Cross the bridge. Once you reach the Pest side, walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes until you see Szent István tér on your left, where St. Stephen's Basilica is located at Szent István tér 1.

If you are near the Oktogon area, you can take Tram 4 or 6 from the Oktogon stop. Ride the tram towards the direction of Széll Kálmán tér and get off at the stop called 'Nyugati pályaudvar.' From there, walk along the street towards the Basilica, which will be about a 15-minute walk. Continue straight past the railway station, and then turn left onto Váci utca. Follow this street until you reach Szent István tér, where St. Stephen's Basilica is located.

If you are near the Keleti Railway Station, take Bus 7 towards 'Kelenföld vasútállomás.' Get off at the stop 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út.' From there, walk straight down Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út until you reach the intersection with Szent István tér. Turn right, and you will find St. Stephen's Basilica at Szent István tér 1.
