Getting There

Walking
If you are already in Inner City, the most straightforward way to reach Döbrentei Square is by walking. Start from the iconic Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd) as your landmark. Head towards the bridge and cross it. Upon reaching the Buda side, you will find yourself on Clark Ádám Square. From there, continue straight onto Attila út. After a short walk of about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Döbrentei Square. The square is a lovely area with views of the Danube and the Parliament.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, you can board bus number 16 from the Deák Ferenc tér stop, which is a major transit hub in the Inner City. The bus will take you directly to the Buda side. Get off at the 'Döbrentei tér' stop. From there, it is a short walk up Attila út to reach Döbrentei Square. Note: A single bus ticket costs around 350 HUF, which you can purchase at ticket machines or kiosks before boarding.

You can also take tram number 19 from the Váci út stop in the Inner City. Ride the tram towards the Dózsa György út stop and then transfer to bus number 16.
