From Budapest, head to Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station). You can reach it via metro line M2 (red line) to Keleti pályaudvar station. Once at Keleti, purchase a ticket to Tatabánya. Trains to Tatabánya run regularly, approximately every hour. The journey takes about 1 hour. When you arrive at Tatabánya, exit the station and head northwest towards the Turul Monument, which is about a 20-minute walk. Follow the main road (Szent István út) until you reach the monument.

You can take a bus from Budapest to Tatabánya. Start at Népliget Bus Station, which can be reached via metro line M3 (blue line) to Népliget station. Buses to Tatabánya leave regularly. The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at the Tatabánya bus station, walk north towards the Turul Monument, which is about a 25-minute walk.
