Walking
Start at the Váci train station (Vác, 2600). Exit the station and head east on Árpád út towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn right onto Kossuth Lajos utca and walk for about 300 meters. You will see the Váci Cathedral on your left, a good landmark. Continue along Kossuth Lajos utca until you reach the intersection with Pannónia utca and turn left. Follow Pannónia utca until you reach the end, then turn right onto Jókai Mór utca. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the end of Jókai Mór utca, where it intersects with a small path that leads into the forest. Follow the path into the woods, and keep an eye out for signs indicating the way to Cigányárok-hasadék. The hike will take about 30-40 minutes.
Public Transport
From Váci train station (Vác, 2600), take bus number 10 towards 'Zebegény' from the bus stop located just outside the station. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Cigányárok' stop. From there, follow the path indicated by signs leading into the forest. The hike to Cigányárok-hasadék from the bus stop will take around 20-30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the trail can be uneven.
