From the center of Vác, head southwest on Kossuth Lajos utca towards Szent István utca. Continue straight until you reach the Váci Cathedral, a prominent landmark. From there, turn left onto Móricz Zsigmond utca, which will lead you out of the city center. Follow this road until you reach the junction with the main road (Route 2). Cross the road carefully and continue straight on the pedestrian path. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Danube River. Follow the riverside path north for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Esztergom. The Royal Castle is located on the hill overlooking the town. You will need to ascend the path leading up to the castle for the final stretch.
