Walking
If you are in the center of Vác, start at Váci Cathedral (Váci Székesegyház). Head south on Ányos Pál utca towards the Danube River, and turn left onto the riverbank. Walk along the scenic river path until you reach the Váci bridge (Váci híd). Cross the bridge to reach the train station on the other side. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train heading to Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Budapest's northern train station (Nyugati Pályaudvar), take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér, and get off at Szentlélek tér. The Vasarely Museum is located just a short walk from the tram stop.

From Vác, walk to the Váci train station. Purchase a ticket to Budapest and board a train heading towards the capital. Once you arrive at Nyugati Pályaudvar in Budapest, exit the station and head towards the tram stop. Take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Szentlélek tér stop. The Vasarely Museum is a short walk from there. Follow the road signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
