Walking
From the center of Vác, head south on Váci út towards the Danube River. Continue walking until you reach the park along the riverbank. Follow the riverbank path to the south. After about 20-25 minutes, you will arrive at the train station called Váci Vasútállomás. Take a train heading towards Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Nyugati Pályaudvar station in Budapest, exit the station and walk towards the nearby Jászai Mari tér. From there, walk east along the banks of the Danube until you reach the intersection with Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út. Turn left on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, and József nádor tér will be on your right after a short walk.

From the center of Vác, walk to the nearest bus stop at Kossuth Lajos utca. Take Bus 39 towards Sződliget. After 15-20 minutes, get off at the Váci Vasútállomás stop. From there, take a train to Budapest. Once you arrive at Nyugati Pályaudvar, exit the station and head towards Jászai Mari tér. Walk along the riverbank to the east until you reach Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út. Turn left and walk for a short distance until you see József nádor tér on your right.
