From the center of Vértes Mountains, drive towards Vértessomló. If you are coming from Székesfehérvár, take Route 81 and head southeast until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 heading towards Vértessomló. Once in Vértessomló, follow local signs to Vitány Castle. The castle is located at Vértessomló, 2823. There is limited parking near the castle. Make sure to check for any parking fees, though they are usually free.
Public Transportation
To reach Vitány Castle using public transport, take a train from Budapest to Vértessomló station. Trains run regularly, but make sure to check the schedule on the MÁV website. Once you arrive at Vértessomló station, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach Vitány Castle. Follow the signs towards the castle, or use a map application for navigation.
