If you're starting from Akureyri's city center, head towards the waterfront along Hafnarstræti street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kópavogsgata. Turn left onto Kópavogsgata and continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Samkomubrú. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the observation deck, which is located at MWG6+RVP.

From Akureyri's main bus station (Strætó), take bus number 1 towards Glerárgata. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Víðimýrargata' stop. From there, walk down Víðimýrargata street until it merges with Kópavogsgata. Turn right and follow the road for about 500 meters. You will then see the signs for Samkomubrú leading you to the observation deck.
