If you are driving, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Reykjavík. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 60 km. Once you reach Reykjavík, follow signs for the city center. As you approach the center, look for Kirkjutorg, where Alþingishúsið is located. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be sure to check the parking rules to avoid fines.

To reach Alþingishúsið using public transportation, first take a bus from Borgarfjörður to Reykjavík. You can use the Strætó bus service; check their schedule for the latest routes and times. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Reykjavík, you can either walk to Kirkjutorg or take a local bus that stops at the city center. The walk from the bus terminal to Alþingishúsið will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From the Harpa Concert Hall, head southwest towards the waterfront, then turn left onto the main street, and continue walking until you reach Kirkjutorg.
