From Borgarnes, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. Continue for about 35 kilometers until you see the signs for Route 54. Turn onto Route 54 and follow it for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the turn for Snorrastöðum. Once you reach Snorrastöðum, continue straight, and you will find the Eldborg Crater Trailhead. There are no additional fees for parking at the trailhead.
