Walking
From the center of Grindavik, head east on the main street, Suðurgata. Continue walking for approximately 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Reykjanesbraut (Route 43). Turn right onto Reykjanesbraut and walk for about 700 meters. You will then see a sign for Víðistaðakirkja. Follow the footpath that leads towards the church. The church will be on your left side, just a short distance from the main road.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Grindavik and cycle east along Suðurgata. Continue until you reach Reykjanesbraut (Route 43). Turn right and cycle for about 700 meters. Look for signs directing you to Víðistaðakirkja. The church will be located along the path on your left. The bike ride should take approximately 10 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Víðistaðakirkja. However, you can take a local bus from Grindavik to Hafnarfjörður.
