Getting there

Walking

From the center of Olafsvik, start at the main square where the church is located. Head southwest on Aðalgata road for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Road 54. Turn left onto Road 54 and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Bjarnafoss on your right. Follow the path indicated by the signs leading to the waterfall, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Olafsvik. Start at the town square and ride southwest down Aðalgata road for about 600 meters. At the intersection with Road 54, turn left and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Bjarnafoss on your right. The cycling path is scenic and should take about 10 minutes to reach the waterfall from the main road.
