From the center of Olafsvik, start at the main square near the church. Head southwest on Aðalgata street, which is the main road through town. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Here, take the left fork onto Road 574. Walk for another 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will eventually see signs directing you to Búðakirkja. Keep an eye out for the distinctive black church on your right as you approach. The total walking distance is approximately 3.5 kilometers, and it should take around 45-50 minutes.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Olafsvik. Start from the center of town, heading southwest on Aðalgata street. Continue to follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork. Take the left fork onto Road 574 and proceed for approximately 2 kilometers. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, and you'll enjoy beautiful landscapes along the way. Look for signs pointing to Búðakirkja, and the church will be on your right.
