Walking
From the center of Olafsvik, head west on the main road (Þjóðvegur 54). Continue walking along this road for about 9 kilometers. You will pass several scenic views of the coastline and mountains along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for 'Búðir' as you approach. Once you see the sign, look for a small road leading to the right. Take this road, and you will see Búðakirkja (Búðir Church) ahead on your left.

If you have a bicycle, you can take the same route as walking. Start at the center of Olafsvik and ride west on Þjóðvegur 54. The ride is approximately 9 kilometers and is relatively flat, making it an enjoyable ride. Make sure to keep an eye out for the sign to Búðir and take the right turn when you see it. The church will be on your left side when you approach.

Unfortunately, there are no direct public transport options from Olafsvik to Búðakirkja. However, you can take a bus from the local bus station in Olafsvik heading towards Snæfellsnes Peninsula. You may need to confirm with the bus driver to get off at the nearest stop to Búðir, which may be a few kilometers away. From there, you will need to walk towards the church, following any signs directing you to Búðakirkja.
