    From the center of Olafsvik, start at the town's main square near the church. Head south on the main road (Road 54) towards Hellnar. The walk is approximately 6 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and ocean. After about 30 minutes, you will see a sign for Malarrif. Continue following the road, and you will eventually reach a fork. Stay to the left, following the signs for Malarrif. Keep walking until you reach the lighthouse, which will be visible from a distance.
