Start at the center of Olafsvik, near the Olafsvik Church. Head south on the main road, Borgarbraut. Continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. Take a left onto Route 54. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Malarrif Lighthouse (Malarrifsviti) directing you to the right. Turn right onto the gravel road, and after about 500 meters, you will arrive at the lighthouse.

If you have rented a bicycle in Olafsvik, begin at the town center. Ride south on Borgarbraut for 2.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Route 54 and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Look for the signs for Malarrif Lighthouse and turn right onto the gravel road. Continue for another 500 meters, and you will find the lighthouse at the end of the path.

From Olafsvik, check the local bus schedule for services heading towards Hellnar. Board the bus that takes you to Hellnar. Once you arrive in Hellnar, exit the bus and walk towards the coast, following the signs toward Malarrif Lighthouse. The lighthouse is approximately 1.5 kilometers from the bus stop, and you can walk along the scenic coastal path to get there.
