From the center of Olafsvik, head east on Aðalgata street towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Road 574. Turn left onto Road 574 and continue walking for about 7.5 kilometers. You will pass by scenic landscapes, and you can enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. Vatnshellir Cave will be on your right along Road 574, look for the entrance signage indicating the cave.
