    From Reykjavík, head southwest on Route 41 towards the Reykjanes Peninsula. Continue on Route 41 for approximately 30 km until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Route 43. Take the second exit onto Route 43, following signs for Grindavík. Drive for about 12 km until you reach Grindavík. Once in Grindavík, take a left onto Unnamed Rd and follow the signs for Hópsnes Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located on the coast, approximately 5 km down this road.

    Take the bus from Reykjavík to Grindavík. The bus company, Strætó, operates a route that connects these locations. You can catch the bus from the main bus terminal in Reykjavík. The journey to Grindavík takes around 50 minutes. Once in Grindavík, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to reach Hópsnes Lighthouse. It's approximately 5 km from the town center to the lighthouse. Walking this distance will take around 1 hour, while a taxi can get you there in about 10 minutes.
