Start from the center of Selfoss, near the Selfoss Church. Head southwest on Aðalstræti Street towards the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout onto Ártún Street. Follow Ártún Street for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Fremri-Laugdælaeyja on your right. The nature preserve is located at Ártún 17, 800 Selfoss. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Selfoss Church and cycle southwest on Aðalstræti Street. Continue to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Ártún Street. Continue cycling straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign for Fremri-Laugdælaeyja on your right. The total cycling distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 10-15 minutes.
