Bus
From Selfoss, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Selfoss Bus Station. Take the bus heading towards Hvolsvöllur. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Hvolsvöllur stop. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer east along Austurvegur, and you will arrive at the LAVA Centre located at Austurvegur 14.

Walking
If you prefer to walk and are feeling adventurous, you can walk to the LAVA Centre. Start from the center of Selfoss and head east on Þjóðvegur (Route 1). After about 3.5 kilometers, you will reach a junction; continue straight onto Austurvegur. The LAVA Centre will be on your right at Austurvegur 14. This walk will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

If you have access to a bicycle, rent one in Selfoss and head towards Hvolsvöllur. Take the same route as the walking directions, following Þjóðvegur (Route 1) towards the east. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and once you reach the junction, turn onto Austurvegur. The LAVA Centre is located at Austurvegur 14.
