Walking
If you are starting from the Selfoss town center, head towards the main square, known as Tjarnargata. From the square, walk east on Tjarnargata until you reach the intersection with Hafnargata. Turn left onto Hafnargata and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Vallarvegur. Continue walking on Vallarvegur for about 500 meters. Sigtúnsgarður Park will be on your left, at the address 800 Selfoss. Look for the park entrance which is marked and easily visible.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Selfoss. Start from the town center and follow the same route as walking. Cycle east on Tjarnargata, then left onto Hafnargata at the square. Continue on Hafnargata until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Vallarvegur. The park is about 500 meters down Vallarvegur on your left. The route is safe and has bike lanes for most of the way.
