Best tour for the South Coast

We had a wonderful experience with this David the Guide Tour, which covered Iceland's best south coast spots, including the famous waterfalls, the Diamond Beach, and the glacier hike. Erlingur is a fantastic guide, fun and accommodating to the travelers' needs. He was particularly kind in not being too rigid with the schedule, keeping the best spots for the northern lights in mind so we could see them at their absolute best. The glacier hiking experience with our expert guide Tomasz was also fun and adventurous. We had a great time on our tour, in large part thanks to our driver guide Lili, who is a very passionate, professional and friendly person. We saw a lot of waterfalls, a glacier, an ice cave, black beaches and more!

2 Day Summer Tour to Iceland's South Coast with Glacier Hike

Great trip, wonderful guide!

We had a great time on the tour. Our guide Jagoda shared lots of info on Iceland, including thoughts about food and snacks. She also made adjustments to planned stops, so that we could see certain sites at the best times and made some bonus stops along the way to take in the scenery. I liked that she seemed to enjoyed seeing all the sites herself, even though it was probably the hundredth time she has been there. The transportation was roomy enough, with 10 people in a vehicle with around 16 seats in the back, although the empty seats were mostly stacked with bags. The Glacier hike and boat tour on the Glacier Lagoon were definitely the highlights. On the Glacier hike, I really like how she made sure everyone was properly equipped and also using the equipment properly. Regarding pickup, given the big window of 30-40 min, I'd recommend letting people know in advance how many stops there will be that morning and where they are in the order. Even better, it would be great if text updates could be given (e.g., pickup one done, on my way to number 2). We were the last ones to be picked up, so we were wondering at the end whether we were forgotten.
