If you are starting from downtown Coeur d'Alene, head north on N 4th St towards E Sherman Ave. Continue walking until you reach E Sherman Ave and turn right. Walk east along E Sherman Ave for about 0.5 miles. You will see the Coeur d'Alene Public Library on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with N 10th St. Cross the street and continue walking straight ahead onto E Lakeside Ave. After a short walk, you will arrive at the entrance of Fallen Heroes Plaza located at 47.6903199 latitude and -116.7617158 longitude, which is near the waterfront.

If you prefer to bike, you can start from the Coeur d'Alene City Park. From the park, head north on the bike path along the shoreline. Keep following the path around the lake, and when you reach E Lakeside Ave, turn left. Continue biking on E Lakeside Ave for about 0.3 miles. Fallen Heroes Plaza will be on your right, just past the intersection with N 10th St.

For those using public transit, you can take the local bus service. Catch a bus that goes towards the downtown area and ask the driver to let you off near the Coeur d'Alene Library. From there, walk north on N 4th St until you reach E Sherman Ave. Turn right and follow the same directions as the walking route. It’s a short walk to the plaza from the library.
