If you are starting from downtown Coeur d'Alene, head east on Sherman Avenue towards the lake. Continue straight until you reach the lakefront at the intersection with Lakeside Avenue. Turn left onto Lakeside Avenue and follow it until you reach E Lakeshore Drive. From here, you will see a path leading to Sanders Beach. The walk is approximately 0.6 miles and should take about 15-20 minutes.

For those who prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Coeur d'Alene. Head east on Sherman Avenue, then turn left onto Lakeside Avenue. Follow Lakeside until you reach E Lakeshore Drive. Continue on E Lakeshore Drive; Sanders Beach will be on your right after about 0.6 miles. The bike ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes.

To reach Sanders Beach using public transit, take a bus from the Coeur d'Alene Transit System. Board a bus heading towards the East Side. Get off at the stop nearest to E Lakeshore Drive. From there, walk east along E Lakeshore Drive until you reach Sanders Beach, which is located at 1501 E Lakeshore Dr. The total transit time will vary but expect it to take around 30-45 minutes, including walking.
