Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from the center of Lewiston, head north on Main Street toward 6th Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of 6th Avenue and Thain Grade. At this point, you will need to turn left onto Thain Grade and walk uphill. Follow Thain Grade for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several landmarks including the Lewis-Clark State College campus on your right. After about 1.5 miles, Thain Grade will merge into Old Spiral Highway. Continue on Old Spiral Highway for about 3 miles. You will see signs for Lewiston Hill Overlook. The overlook is located on the right at approximately 22716-22728 Old Spiral Hwy, Genesee, ID 83832.

• Biking

  If you are biking from downtown Lewiston, start at the intersection of Main Street and 6th Avenue. Head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Thain Grade. Turn left onto Thain Grade and bike uphill for about 1.5 miles. After passing Lewis-Clark State College, the road will curve and then merge into Old Spiral Highway. Continue on Old Spiral Highway for about 3 miles, watching for signs directing you to Lewiston Hill Overlook. The overlook is located on the right at around 22716-22728 Old Spiral Hwy, Genesee, ID 83832.

• Public Transport

  As of my last update, there are limited public transport options directly to Lewiston Hill Overlook. However, you can take a local bus from downtown Lewiston to the nearest stop along Thain Grade. Check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Thain Grade and get off at the closest stop. From there, you would need to walk approximately 1.5 miles uphill on Thain Grade and then continue onto Old Spiral Highway for about 3 miles until you reach Lewiston Hill Overlook at 22716-22728 Old Spiral Hwy, Genesee, ID 83832.
