From Panhandle, head south on US-95 S. Continue for approximately 20 miles. Take the exit for ID-200 E toward Sandpoint/Cocolalla. Merge onto ID-200 E and continue for about 10 miles. Turn right onto NF-230. Follow NF-230 for about 2 miles until you reach the Maiden Rock Trailhead, located at 1671 NF-230, Cocolalla, ID 83813. There is no parking fee, but ensure your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads.
Public Transportation
Unfortunately, there are no direct public transportation options to Maiden Rock Trail. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to Sandpoint, ID. Once in Sandpoint, you would need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach the trailhead at 1671 NF-230, Cocolalla, ID 83813, which is approximately a 15-minute drive from Sandpoint. Bicycling
