Public Transport (Train)
From Arlington Heights, walk to the Arlington Heights Metra Station located at 45 W Northwest Hwy. Purchase a ticket for the Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. Board the train and enjoy the ride, which will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Chicago Union Station, follow the signs to the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Exit the station and head towards the 'Washington' street exit. From there, you can take the CTA bus number 147 (Outer Drive Express) heading north and get off at the 'Michigan & Chicago' stop. 400 N Michigan Ave will be just a short walk away.

Walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Pace bus route 696 or 696X to the Arlington Heights Metra Station. Once there, board the Metra train towards Chicago. After arriving at the Chicago Union Station, transfer to the CTA Blue Line train at the nearby Washington/Wells station. Take the Blue Line towards O'Hare and get off at the Clark/Lake station. From there, transfer to the Red Line train towards Howard and get off at the Grand station. Finally, head east on Grand Ave and walk to 400 N Michigan Ave.

From there, board the Metra train heading towards Chicago, which will take you to Chicago Union Station. After arriving, take a short walk to the nearby CTA bus stop and take the 147 bus heading north. Get off at 'Michigan & Chicago' and walk a few blocks to reach 400 N Michigan Ave.
