From Arlington Heights Train Station, take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line toward Chicago O'Hare. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Once you exit the station, head southeast on W Washington Blvd toward N Canal St. Walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach W Adams St. Turn left onto W Adams St, then right onto S Franklin St. Continue for about 0.2 miles until you reach W Monroe St. Turn left, and you will find Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours located at 300 E Monroe St.
Bus
From Arlington Heights, you can take the Pace Bus Route 696 toward Chicago. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the stop at W Washington Blvd & S Franklin St. From there, walk east on W Washington Blvd for about 0.3 miles until you reach S Franklin St. Turn right onto S Franklin St and walk for about 0.2 miles to W Monroe St. Turn left onto W Monroe St, and you will arrive at Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours at 300 E Monroe St.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental service in Arlington Heights. Start your ride heading south on Arlington Heights Rd. Continue onto W Campbell St, then turn right onto S Arlington Heights Rd. Follow the road until it merges into N Dundee Rd. Use designated bike paths and follow roads with less traffic. After approximately 10 miles, you will connect to the Des Plaines River Trail which leads into Chicago. Follow the trail to the city center, then navigate to 300 E Monroe St, which is approximately 1 mile from the trail exit.
Walking
For an adventurous option, if you are starting from a central location in Arlington Heights, consider walking to the Metra station. Once you reach the station, take the train as described above. If you are nearby, you can walk to the train station then continue walking in Chicago. Upon arriving at Ogilvie Transportation Center, you can walk to 300 E Monroe St by heading southeast on W Washington Blvd toward N Canal St, then follow the above directions.
