From Arlington Heights, head to the nearest Metra station and take the Union Pacific Northwest Line train towards Chicago. Get off at the Des Plaines station. From there, transfer to the Pace Bus Route 250, heading towards Skokie. Get off at the 'Floral Ave & Oakton St' stop. Walk east on Floral Ave for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Skokie Heritage Museum at 8031 Floral Ave.

Start at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library and head south on Dunton Ave. Continue until you reach the intersection of Dunton Ave and Northwest Hwy. Turn left onto Northwest Hwy and follow it until you reach the intersection with Oakton St. Turn right onto Oakton St, and then take another right onto Floral Ave. The Skokie Heritage Museum will be on your right at 8031 Floral Ave. This route is approximately 7 miles and may take about 30-40 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
