Getting There

  • Public Transit

    To reach Nichols Bridgeway in Chicago from Berwyn, start by walking to the Berwyn Metra Station located at 6820 Windsor Ave. Take the Metra train on the BNSF Line towards Chicago Union Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the 'Canal Street' exit. After exiting, walk east on Adams St. towards the Chicago River. Continue walking until you reach Wacker Dr. and turn left. Walk north on Wacker Dr. until you reach the intersection with State St. From there, walk a few blocks east on State St. until you reach the Nichols Bridgeway entrance, which connects Millennium Park to the modern architecture of the city.

    From Berwyn, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Pace Bus route. Board the Pace Route 311 bus heading towards the LaGrange Metra Station. After about 15 minutes, get off at the LaGrange Station and transfer to the Metra train on the BNSF Line towards Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
