    From Chain O'Lakes State Park, get onto IL-173 E. Head east on IL-173 E for about 10 miles until you reach US-12. Take US-12 S towards Richmond. Continue on US-12 S for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with IL-47 S. Merge onto IL-47 S and continue for about 17 miles until you reach the junction with I-39 S. Merge onto I-39 S and follow signs for Oglesby. Take exit 54 for IL-71 E towards Oglesby. Continue on IL-71 E for about 6 miles, then turn left onto IL-178 N. Follow IL-178 N, and you will arrive at Starved Rock State Park, located at 81 IL-178, Oglesby, IL 61348. The total driving distance is approximately 55 miles. Please note that there may be parking fees at the park.
