Getting There

• Public Transit

  From Naperville, head to the Naperville Metra Station located at 105 E 4th Ave. Take the BNSF Railway line towards Chicago Union Station. The train ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Chicago Union Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the 'State Street' exit. After exiting, walk to the State/Lake station and transfer to the CTA Red Line towards Howard. Get off at the Chicago station. From there, walk east on E Lake St toward N State St, then turn left onto N State St. Continue until you reach E Erie St. Turn right onto E Erie St, and The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your left at 50 E Erie St.

• Bus

  From Naperville, you can take the Pace Bus Route 663 from the Naperville Transportation Center. Ride the bus to the Washington & Madison stop in Chicago. From there, walk north on Washington St toward W Randolph St, then turn left on W Randolph St. Continue to N State St and turn right. Walk until you reach E Erie St and turn left. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum will be on your left at 50 E Erie St.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-share service in Naperville. Follow the DuPage River Trail north towards Chicago. Once you reach the city limits, continue on local bike paths that will take you toward downtown Chicago. Once you get to the Near North Side, navigate your way to E Erie St. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum is located at 50 E Erie St, and there are bike racks available nearby for parking.

• Walking

  If you're already in the Near North Side area, the museum is easily accessible by foot. Start at the nearest CTA station (Chicago station on the Red Line) and head east on E Lake St toward N State St. Turn left onto N State St, then continue until you reach E Erie St. Turn right, and you'll find The Richard H. Driehaus Museum at 50 E Erie St.
