You can take the Pace Route 349 towards the Chicago Midway Airport, which will take you to the Midway Airport area. From Midway, transfer to the CTA Orange Line train heading north. Get off at the 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes northeast to reach Washington Park, located at 55th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue.

    Begin your journey by heading to the Oak Lawn Metra station. Board the Metra SouthWest Service train towards Chicago Union Station. Get off at the 35th Street station. From the station, you can either walk about 15 minutes north to reach Washington Park or take a local bus heading east on 35th Street until you reach Cottage Grove Avenue, then walk south to the park.
