From Palatine, head to the Palatine Train Station located at 137 W Wood St. Take the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line towards Chicago. The train ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the Ogilvie Transportation Center (OTC) in Chicago. From there, walk to the nearby 'Ogilvie' bus station at 500 W Madison St and catch the #66 Chicago Avenue bus heading east. Ride the bus for about 10 stops until you reach the intersection of McClurg Ct and East Grand Ave. From there, it's a short walk to the Nicholas J. Melas Centennial Fountain at 400 N McClurg Ct.
