If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the popular tourist area of Calangute. Head south on the Calangute-Baga Road (also known as Aguada-Siolim Road). Continue straight until you reach the junction for NH66 (formerly NH17). Merge onto NH66 and drive for about 20 km, passing through Candolim and Sinquerim. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Mobor Beach. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Betul and follow the road until you see signs for Kakolem Beach. The last stretch involves a narrow road downhill that can be tricky, so drive carefully. There is limited parking available near the beach, and you may need to pay a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Mapusa or Panaji to the nearby town of Agonda. Regular buses operate from both locations, and the fare is typically around ₹30-₹50. Once you reach Agonda, you can hire a taxi or use a local rickshaw to reach Kakolem Beach. The taxi or rickshaw ride will cost you between ₹300-₹500. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey, as rates can vary. The drivers are usually familiar with Kakolem Beach, so simply ask for directions.

Bike/Scooter Rental
