From the main bus station in Panaji (Panjim), take a local bus heading towards Mapusa. The bus stop is located near the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Make sure to ask the driver to stop at Pilerne. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you get off the bus in Pilerne, ask locals for directions to Shanta Durga Temple, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the Betim–Verem–Saligao Road until you see the temple on your left.

From your location in Goa, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to Shanta Durga Temple. If you are in a popular area like Calangute or Candolim, simply tell the driver 'Shanta Durga Temple' and they will know the route as it is a well-known destination. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. You can also ask the driver to drop you off at the Betim–Verem–Saligao Road, where you can walk to the temple.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in popular tourist areas like Baga or Anjuna. Head towards Mapusa and then take the road towards Pilerne. The temple is approximately 10 km from Mapusa. Follow the Betim–Verem–Saligao Road. Once you reach Pilerne, look for signs directing you to Shanta Durga Temple. It’s a beautiful ride through the scenic views of Goa.
