Public Transport

If arriving by bus from Panaji or Mapusa, disembark at the Candolim bus stop. From there, hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi to Sinquerim Fort, which is approximately 2-3 km away. Auto-rickshaw fares typically range from ₹50-₹100. Alternatively, you can walk from Candolim Beach, which is about a 20-minute walk.

Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available from popular locations like Panaji, Calangute, and Dabolim Airport. A taxi ride from Panaji to Sinquerim Fort costs approximately ₹300-₹500 and takes around 30 minutes. From Dabolim Airport, a taxi ride costs approximately ₹800-₹1200 and takes about an hour. The close proximity to Sinquerim Beach and Candolim Beach adds to the fort's appeal, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. The fort is open to visitors from 6 am to 7 pm every day, and there is no entrance fee. Nearby attractions include Fort Aguada, Candolim Beach, and Calangute Beach.
