Walking
From the center of Margao, start at the Municipal Garden. Head south on Rua de Ourem towards the junction with the National Highway 66. Continue straight onto the highway, which will lead you out of the city. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for signposts indicating 'Pandava Caves'. The caves are located approximately 2 kilometers from the highway, and you may need to walk along a dirt path leading to the site.
Auto-rickshaw
You can easily find an auto-rickshaw near the Municipal Garden in Margao. Tell the driver you want to go to Pandava Caves (you can show them the address: 7XFC+287, Martires Dias Rd, Madgaon, Goa 403601). The ride should cost around ₹100 to ₹150 and will take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Local Bus
From Margao, head to the Margao Bus Stand. Look for a bus heading towards Khareband or Madgaon. Get off at the nearest stop to Pandava Caves, which is usually the Khareband stop. From there, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the caves. Buses typically run every 30 minutes, and the fare is around ₹15-₹20.
