If you are in the city center of Gwalior, start at the Gwalior Railway Station. Exit the station and head east on Race Course Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to Gwalior Fort. Turn left onto the road leading to the fort entrance.

From the Gwalior Fort entrance, follow the path uphill towards the fort. You will pass through a set of gates and ascend towards the fort complex. After about 500 meters, you will reach a fork; take the path to the right which leads to Jahangir Mahal. The mahal is located near Maan Singh Palace.
