Car
If you are traveling by car, the best route to Great Himalayan National Park is to start from Kullu. From Kullu, take NH3 towards Manali. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn onto the road leading to Banjar. Continue on this road for about 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Banjar. From Banjar, follow the signs to Jibhi, which is about 10 kilometers away. Once in Jibhi, you can find parking options and prepare for the trek into Great Himalayan National Park, which starts from the entrance near the village of Gushaini.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Manali to Banjar. Buses depart regularly and the journey takes around 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Banjar, you can take a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to Jibhi. The fare for the taxi should be negotiated beforehand, costing approximately ₹200-₹300. After reaching Jibhi, you can hike or hire a local guide to take you into Great Himalayan National Park from the Gushaini entrance.

Once you reach the entrance of Great Himalayan National Park in Gushaini, you will need to trek into the park as vehicles are not allowed beyond this point. There are several trekking routes available, ranging from easy walks to more challenging hikes. It is recommended to hire a local guide for the best experience. The cost for a guide can range from ₹1000 to ₹3000 per day, depending on the length of the trek and the guide's experience. Be sure to carry sufficient water and snacks, as well as a first-aid kit.
