Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Itanagar Bus Station, exit the station and head southeast on the main road (NH13). Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a major intersection. At the intersection, take a left turn onto the road leading towards Ganga Lake. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer, and you will see signs indicating the direction to Ita Fort. After passing a few local shops and a small park, you will arrive at the entrance of Ita Fort, which will be on your right.

From the Itanagar Tourist Lodge, head east on the main road (NH13) for approximately 800 meters. You will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit to continue on the NH13. After about 500 meters, look for signs directing you to Ita Fort and take the right turn. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, passing through a residential area, and you will find Ita Fort on your left side.

If you are near the Ganga Lake area, head northwest towards the main road (NH13). Once you reach the NH13, turn right and walk for about 1 kilometer. Look for a sign toward Ita Fort and take the left turn onto the access road. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at Ita Fort on your right.
